Mercedes GLC electric car revealed with glowing grille and high-end technology
Mercedes launches GLC EQ electric car with unique LED grille, 39.1-inch Hyperscreen screen and maximum range of 713 km
At the Munich exhibition (Germany), Mercedes-Benz officially launched the GLC EQ - a completely new electric SUV. The car is expected to replace the EQC, which has not achieved sales success.

The most noticeable difference is the large grille with 942 glowing LED dots, creating a striking visual effect.
The star-shaped daytime running lights and the rear taillights are also designed similarly, bringing uniformity to the brand's new identity language.

Modern technology interior
Inside the cockpit, the Mercedes GLC EQ electric car offers a premium experience with a 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen screen covering the entire dashboard.

The interior space combines minimalism and modernity with a neat center console, two wireless phone charging slots and a sophisticated ambient lighting system.

The classic round air-conditioning vents are still retained, creating a traditional highlight in the digital space.
Size and handling
The GLC EQ has a 2,972 mm wheelbase, 8 cm longer than the petrol engine version, helping to expand space for passengers and luggage compartment.

The car is equipped with a 94 kWh lithium-ion battery, starting with the GLC 400 4MATIC version using two electric motors, with a capacity of 483 horsepower.
According to WLTP standard, the car can travel up to 713 km on a single charge.
Smart charging and operating technology
GLC EQ supports 330 kW DC fast charging, taking only 10 minutes to add 300 km of range.
The regenerative braking system has four different levels, reaching a maximum of 300 kW, for optimal energy savings.
In addition, Mercedes integrates Airmatic air suspension like the S-Class, combined with rear axle steering.
The suspension also features intelligent adjustment based on Google Maps data for comfort and performance.
Expected distribution from 2026
GLC EQ will be Mercedes' new strategic card in the electric SUV segment.
Specific pricing information will be announced for each market before the vehicle is officially distributed from the first half of 2026.
With modern design, superior technology and long operating range, GLC EQ promises to become a formidable competitor in the global electric vehicle race.
