Sleeper bus collides with motorbike, 3 dead, 1 injured, National Highway 1A congested
(Baonghean.vn) - While traveling on the road, a passenger bus and two motorbikes suddenly collided, killing 3 people and seriously injuring another.
The above accident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on March 27, on National Highway 1A, through Cau Loi area, Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district.

Accordingly, at the above time, a passenger bus (license plate unknown) was traveling from Hanoi to Vinh, when it reached the Cau Loi area, it suddenly collided with a motorcyclist. After that, the passenger bus continued to collide with another motorbike.

As a result, the accident killed two people on two motorbikes on the spot, and two others were injured and taken to the emergency room in critical condition.
The identities of the two victims were identified as Mrs. Phan Thi Hinh and her son Vu Hong Tieu - residents of Phu Vinh hamlet. In addition, two victims in the accident were seriously injured, including one who was in critical condition and was related to Mrs. Hinh.
By the evening of March 27, information from Do Thanh Commune Police said that the third victim in the accident, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mieu, died at the hospital after being taken to the emergency room.
The remaining person is Mr. Vu Van Ngoan - with a broken leg, currently being treated in the hospital.
It is known that at the time of the accident, all 4 people from Do Thanh commune were driving a motorbike to get medicine when they collided with a sleeper bus.
The accident caused traffic on National Highway 1A to be locally congested for more than 3 hours and 2-3km long.

After the accident, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police) coordinated with Dien Chau District Traffic Police to be present at the scene to regulate and direct traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.
The vehicle that collided with two motorbikes was a sleeper bus of Phu Quy bus company (headquartered in Ha Tinh city) that specializes in running the fixed route Ha Tinh - Hanoi.
