The Honda Activa 5G was introduced at the Auto Expo 2018 in February but was quickly introduced in India with a starting price of Rs 52,460 (VND 18.3 million) for the standard version and Rs 54,325 (VND 19 million) for the Deluxe versions.

With an appearance similar to the Lead model in Vietnam, Honda Activa 5G targets the female segment. However, the vehicle does not have many changes compared to the previous version. Some details on the Led lights have been refined in a more rounded direction. In particular, Active is equipped with a 4-in-1 lock, a seat cover opening switch and a retractable rear hook.

In terms of engine, the Activa 5G has a single-cylinder, 109 cc BS-IV engine with Honda Eco Technology (HET), delivering a maximum capacity of 8 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 9 Nm at 5,500 rpm, mated to a CVT gearbox. The vehicle has a maximum speed of 83 km/h.

Regarding the suspension system, the vehicle has a front suspension system with a link type and a single shock absorber at the rear. The vehicle brakes use 130 mm drums for both wheels, along with a combined braking system (CBS).
