(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City Police have just discovered and seized 1 ton of dirty pork fat of unknown origin transported from Nghe An to Nam Dinh province for consumption.

Accordingly, at around 3:00 p.m. on November 17, in the Thang Long Street area, Nghi Lien Commune (Vinh City), the Traffic Police Team coordinated with the Environmental Police Team (Vinh City Police) to discover a truck transporting dirty food, mainly pre-processed animal fat that gave off a foul odor. The above amount of fat was contained in 15 sacks, weighing 1 ton.

According to the driver's statement, the animal fat was transported from Vinh City to Nam Dinh Province for sale. If not discovered in time, this fat would have been smuggled into sidewalk eateries.
Currently, the case is being handled by the authorities in accordance with the provisions of law.
