Truck breaks down in the middle of the road, Highway 48 is congested for more than a day
(Baonghean.vn) - The truck was entering a curve when it stalled in the middle of the road, making it difficult for vehicles to pass through. For more than a day now, passenger cars and trucks have not been able to pass, causing a long traffic jam.

On the morning of August 9, on National Highway 48, through Chau Thang commune, Quy Chau district, a sand truck with license plate 37C-13692 was entering a curve when it died in the middle of the road.
Because the vehicle has a large load and a long rear end, it takes up most of the road. Therefore, it is very difficult for vehicles to travel through this section of the road.

By the morning of August 10, the 80-ton truck continued to slide downhill, blocking most of the road. As a result, cars, buses, and trucks could not pass, causing a long traffic jam.
Along the way, dozens of cars lined up waiting, many passengers were anxious because they could not go home. Many had to catch motorbike taxis to continue their journey.

At 5:00 p.m. on August 10, authorities cleared the scene and reopened the highway after two days of congestion.
