Truck collapses manhole, hundreds of cars stuck on National Highway
(Baonghean.vn)- A traffic incident occurred at 8:00 a.m. on October 12 on National Highway 48B, passing through Block 10 of Cau Giat Town, Quynh Luu District, causing traffic on this route to be cut off from National Highway 1A for nearly 2 hours.

Accordingly, at the above time, the truck with license plate 36C-07520 was traveling on National Highway 48B when it turned around and backed into a house to unload its cargo.
Because the truck was carrying approximately 100 tons of cement, the rear wheel broke the woven plate as soon as it reached the manhole, causing the truck to fall into the hole. Hundreds of cars and motorbikes from Cau Giat to Thai Hoa and vice versa were stuck at both ends until a crane was mobilized to pull the trucks across the road, and traffic was cleared.
