Truck overturned, driver trapped in cabin unconscious

(Baonghean.vn) – The car lost control, crashed into a tree, then continued to move forward, flipping upside down. The driver was trapped in the cabin and passed out, luckily he was rescued in time.

At around 1:50 p.m. on March 10, on Nguyen Truong To Street (Vinh City), a traffic accident occurred, injuring one person and seriously damaging a car.

According to witnesses, at the above time, the open-top truck with license plate 37C-21823, driven by a man (identity not yet determined), was traveling North-South at high speed.

When reaching Dai Loi block, Dong Vinh ward, Vinh city, the truck swerved, lost control and crashed straight into a tree on the side of the road. Not stopping, the truck continued to accelerate and bounced off, flipping upside down in the middle of the road. The entire windshield of the truck was shattered, the front of the truck was deformed.

The driver was seriously injured, trapped in the cabin and was promptly rescued by local people, then taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. Dong Vinh Ward Police arrived, secured the scene, and reported to Vinh City Police to handle the incident.

According to some witnesses, the driver may have fallen asleep, was driving at high speed, and lost control of the steering wheel. There were no brake marks at the scene of the accident.
