Despite the cold weather, hundreds of people rushed to the lake to catch nearly half a ton of fish in the "Lucky Fishing Festival".
Social networks are sharing many images capturing the joyful atmosphere at the "fishing festival" held in Nang Kha commune, Na Hang district, Tuyen Quang province. Hundreds of locals and tourists from all over the country, including old and young, men and women, are not afraid to wade through the mud to catch fish for luck.
This year, the commune government released more than 400kg of fish into the lake. Most of the fish weighed between 2-3kg, the largest one weighed more than 4kg.
