December 15th eveningAfter the final match of AFF Cup 2018, between Vietnam and Malaysia, many people in Dien Chau poured into the streets to celebrate the victory of Vietnam. Anticipating the situation, Dien Chau District Police mobilized 100% of its forces with 150 officers and soldiers to increase patrols, control, and regulate traffic to ensure safety for people cheering on the victory of Vietnam.
However, many subjects had extreme behavior causing traffic disorder. Dien Chau District Police arrested 38 cases of using vehicles without silencers, revving the exhaust, not wearing helmets, carrying more people than allowed, weaving in and out of traffic, and some subjects illegally setting off fireworks causing traffic disorder.
With the reinforcement of forces and timely handling of acts of disturbing traffic safety and order by some subjects, there have been no serious traffic accidents or collisions in Dien Chau district, ensuring that people can participate in cheering for football in a healthy and safe manner.
