From May 16 to May 24, implementing the plan of the Nghe An Border Guard Command, the Border Guard Stations of the coastal routes have increased patrol and control work at river mouths and inlets in coastal areas.
Through inspection, the units discovered 15 vehicles violating regulations in fishing.
In particular, the Border Guard Station of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy port discovered 2 fishing boats owned by owners residing in Ky Anh, Ha Tinh, who did not record or have a logbook for fishing; the Border Guard Station of Quynh Thuan discovered 7 vessels owned by owners residing in Son Hai and Quynh Long communes, Quynh Luu district, using expired fishing licenses.

Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station discovered 4 vehicles owned by residents in Quynh Di Ward, Hoang Mai Town using octagonal cages to exploit aquatic products, confiscating 64 octagonal cages; Dien Thanh Border Guard Station discovered 2 vehicles that did not keep a logbook for aquatic product exploitation as prescribed.
