Dong Bac Trading and Construction Company Limited has suspended the operations of hundreds of drivers after receiving results from TBGSHT data. |
Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Head of the Traffic Management Department (Department of Transport) said: The control and handling of violations through data from journey monitoring devices (GSHT) has been implemented by the Department since 2014. Every month, the Department of Transport has a department to monitor and record violations of vehicles, businesses, and transport cooperatives. Nghe An is one of the provinces with a large number of transport vehicles, so the number of speeding violations detected through journey monitoring device data is always large.
In addition to the fines, the Department of Transport also issued a document reminding and requesting disciplinary action for transport enterprises and cooperatives with a high number of vehicles violating the law. For vehicles that install GSHT devices but do not transmit data to the General Department of Roads, the Department of Transport will refuse to issue badges or revoke badges for a period of one month.

In the coming time, the authorities need to strengthen inspection and handling of violations against vehicles that do not transmit data from the vehicle tracking system to the Vietnam Road Administration as prescribed. |
Previously, on December 8, the Vietnam Road Administration announced the results of synthesizing and analyzing the violation situation from the TBGSHT data in November 2015. Accordingly, in November, Nghe An had 28,491 speeding violations, an increase of 12,857 violations compared to October. The average violation rate was 2.29 times/1,000km and ranked 2nd in the country, after Phu Yen.
It is known that up to now, in the province, there have been about 2,000 passenger transport vehicles installed with journey monitoring devices. Through inspection, it is shown that the units have strictly complied with the installation on the vehicles, ensuring that they meet the prescribed standards. For freight vehicles, they are implementing the roadmap of Decree 86 of the Government. However, the rate of data transmission from the TBGSHT to the General Department of Roads has only reached about 75% of the vehicles.
