3 fishing boats using electric shock to fish in Hoang Mai waters were fined

On April 6 and 7, the interdisciplinary delegation of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with districts, towns and coastal border posts to continue inspecting and monitoring fishing activities in coastal waters. The inspection range was from the sea area north of Cua Lo port to Dong Hoi sea area.
Through patrol activities, the delegation approached 21 fishing boats to propagate and remind them to comply with procedures when going to sea to fish.
The delegation discovered two fishing boats TH 4236-TS of fisherman Nguyen Van Minh and TH 2312-TS of Mr. Vu Quang Trung, both from Hai Ha commune, Nghi Son town (Thanh Hoa), using electric shock to catch seafood in the waters of Hoang Mai town.

Same day,Border Guard StationQuynh Phuong (Hoang Mai Town) also inspected and discovered that Mr. Hoang Van Dung's fishing boat in Ha Trung hamlet, Hai Ha commune, Nghi Son town also used an unregistered and unlicensed boat to enter Hoang Mai town's waters to catch seafood by electrocution.
