On November 18, the Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department, Nghe An Provincial Police, said that it had just coordinated with the Nghe An Department of Information and Communications to summon a case of violation of the act of "Taking advantage of social networks to provide and share false information".

Previously, the Inspectorate of the Nghe An Department of Information and Communications received Official Dispatch No. 2205 from the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information (Ministry of Information and Communications), requesting to review and handle the Facebook account Tuan Luu Dung because there was a petition reflecting that the owner of this account had signs of violating the provisions of the law.

After verification, it was determined that the Facebook account owner Tuan Luu Dung created groups to protest Decree 10./2020/ND-CP issued by the government on January 17, 2020, regulating the conditions for automobile transportation business, includes provisions on installing cameras on automobiles, namely NMT (residing in Doi Cung ward, Vinh city, Nghe An). This person also specializes in selling and supplying surveillance cameras for use in families and within businesses.

Recently, T. installed surveillance cameras on passenger cars and trucks for a number of transport businesses. However, after Decree 10 was issued, because T.'s cameras did not meet the prescribed criteria, he suffered losses and set up groups to protest the regulations. When encouraged by a few people on the internet, T. increasingly indulged in illegal activities.

At the meeting, Mr. T. clearly recognized his violations, committed to removing the content reflecting false information, and posted the correction on his personal page. The Department Inspectorate issued a decision to administratively fine Mr. NMT (owner of the Facebook account Tuan Luu Dung) 5 million VND for posting false information on the Internet.
