Punish sand transport ships violating maritime regulations

Implementing the sea patrol plan, at 8:30 a.m. on April 17, in the Cua Hoi sea area, the Drug and Crime Prevention Department, in coordination with the Border Guard Station of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port and Squadron 2 (Nghe An Border Guard), discovered the Phuc Thanh 69 ship with license plate number HP - 4379, transporting goods from Nghe An to the northern provinces, without ensuring the prescribed procedures. According to the captain's declaration, the ship was transporting over 800 m3Sand from Nghe An to northern provinces for consumption.

Through initial inspection, the Border Guard force discovered that the goods invoices did not match the quantity of goods transported on the ship, the vehicle did not comply with border control inspection of vessels operating in the sea area, within the management unit's area, and the vehicle did not implement the port authority's dispatch plan.
Currently, Nghe An Border Guard force is completing the dossier and processing it according to the provisions of law./.
