At nearly 12 noon on May 21, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police received a fire report at a thousands of square meter wood peeling workshop of Mr. Tran.VT's family, in Hamlet 5, Hanh Lam Commune, Thanh Chuong District.

The fire started in a wood stripping area near the factory. The hot weather and many flammable materials caused the fire to spread quickly and flare up fiercely.

After receiving the information, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department directed 2 firefighting teams of 25 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene to prevent the fire from spreading. After about 10 minutes, the fire was controlled and extinguished.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
