Wood workshop of more than 1,000 square meters burned down at dawn

(Baonghean.vn)- In the early morning of August 14, a wood workshop in Quan Bau ward, Vinh city caught fire fiercely, causing more than 1,000 square meters of the workshop to collapse and many properties inside to be burned down.

Initial information, at around 1am on August 14, some workers at Hoang Ha Linh Company Ltd., No. 5A, Nguyen Trai Street, Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City discovered a fire breaking out from a wood workshop inside the company's premises.

Workers shouted, used mini fire extinguishers and on-site fire pumps but were unsuccessful.

Upon receiving the news, Nghe An Fire Police dispatched 9 fire trucks and nearly 100 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. Because the wood workshop had a lot of wood and flammable materials, the fire was difficult to put out.

At around 8am on August 14, after nearly 7 hours, the fire was basically controlled.

At the scene, much of the wood inside the wood workshop of Hoang Ha Linh Company Ltd. was burned to charcoal; the roof of the workshop, which was about 1,000 square meters wide, also collapsed.

The fire is currently being investigated and clarified by the police./.
