Yen Thanh awarded the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother"
(Baonghean.vn) - The person awarded the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" this time is mother Nguyen Thi Linh, born in 1929, in Van Bac hamlet, Nhan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.
On the morning of March 20, in Nhan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, a ceremony was held to award the honorary title of "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to mother Nguyen Thi Linh (Nhan Thanh, Yen Thanh).

During the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, mother Nguyen Thi Linh overcame many difficulties and hardships, actively participated in labor, production, combat service, and silently sacrificed; her husband and eldest son died on the battlefield.
This is a noble award showing the gratitude of the Party, State and people for the great sacrifice and contribution of mothers to the cause of national liberation and reunification. Up to now, Yen Thanh district has had 246 mothers awarded and posthumously awarded the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother". Nhan Thanh commune alone has 14 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers.
At the ceremony, the district leaders expressed their gratitude for the sacrifices of the martyrs and the contributions of the mother and her family to the cause of national liberation and reunification. They wished the mother good health and longevity, continued to educate her children and grandchildren to uphold the revolutionary tradition, and made many contributions to the construction of the homeland and the country./.
