1,500 Dien Chau Youth Union members launch 2018 summer volunteer campaign

With the theme "Creative youth, volunteering for the community", at the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the District Youth Union called on union members and youths in the whole district to be proactive, volunteer, dare to think, dare to do, actively participate in emulation movements to build new rural areas, transfer science and technology, support loans, build economic models for rural youth; build civilized lifestyles, protect the environment... Proactively advise local authorities to undertake and implement practical and appropriate youth projects and tasks.

Dien Chau District Youth Union has set targets for the 2018 summer volunteer campaign such as: Implementing 3 district-level youth projects; organizing free medical examinations and medicine for 500 people in difficult circumstances, donating 500 units of blood; supporting 5 union members and youths to borrow capital for production; giving gifts to 200 policy families and children in difficult circumstances; consulting and supporting 2,000 candidates in the exam support program; building and repairing 10km of rural roads...

The 2018 summer volunteer campaign in Dien Chau took place from early June to the end of August.

At the launching ceremony, Dien Chau District Youth Union presented 10 gifts to 10 disadvantaged students of Dien Xuan commune. At the same time, nearly 100 trees were planted at Dien Xuan commune stadium, and 150 local people were examined and given free medicine.
