(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing Decision 33/2015/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on capital support for poor households to build houses (Program 167 phase 2), Que Phong has had 1,554 households receiving capital support.

Thanks to the support of the state, people in Nam Giai commune built new houses and settled down.

Assigned with the task of disbursing capital to poor households, Que Phong Social Policy Bank deploys to the entrusted units at the grassroots level, namely Women's Union, Farmers' Union, Veterans' Union, Youth Union, so the capital is closely monitored by the Savings & Loan Group and members, invested for the right purpose, and promoted effectively.

In Dong Van commune, there are still many poor households that need state support to build houses.

According to statistics of Que Phong Social Policy Bank, from the beginning of 2016 until now, it has disbursed more than 285 million VND to poor households to invest in renovating and building houses according to Decision 33/2015/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.

However, to make this program more effective, there needs to be appropriate support mechanisms and policies for households in remote mountainous areas and timely disbursement of capital. Due to the difficult and dangerous terrain of the people's housing construction, the construction costs are high, so during the implementation process, it is necessary to combine capital sources, mobilize and call on organizations and philanthropists to support people to build solid houses and stabilize their lives.
