10 men beat each other up after the wedding
(Baonghean.vn) - After the wedding, Thanh invited two men from the same neighborhood to gamble. A while later, seven other men from the same neighborhood came to "join in the fun" and were caught red-handed by Tan Ky District Police.

On the afternoon of April 27, Tan Ky District People's Court opened a first-instance trial of the criminal case against Nguyen Van Thanh (residing in Hamlet 5A, Nghia Dong Commune, Tan Ky District) and 9 other defendants for the crime of "Gambling".
According to the indictment, at around 9:00 p.m. on February 7, 2018, after attending a wedding at the house of Mr. Nguyen Canh Su in the same neighborhood, Thanh invited Cao Xuan Cuong and Dang Van Thang (living in the same commune) to gamble and both agreed.
Thanh took a card and gambled with 2 other players using dice, each bet starting from 50,000 VND or more. The 3 people used 5.9 million VND to gamble.
A while later, Nguyen Van Chien, Nguyen Viet Huan, Doan Thanh Hoa, Nguyen Van Anh, Vo Duy Luong, Nguyen Huu Linh and Ho Minh Truyen (all residing in Tan Ky district) came to join the gambling. These 7 subjects used 12.5 million VND to gamble.
At around 10:30 p.m. the same day, a task force from Tan Ky District Police raided and arrested the subjects while they were gambling. The authorities seized 8.9 million VND at the gambling table and 9.3 million VND from the subjects. The investigation found sufficient grounds to determine that all the money seized from the subjects was used for gambling purposes.
At the end of the trial, the panel sentenced the defendants to 33 months of suspended imprisonment, 36 months of non-custodial reform, and an administrative fine of 67 million VND.
