12 hours through the night searching for victims swept away by flood in Nam Can commune (Nghe An)
After more than 12 hours of effort through the night in heavy rain and dangerous weather conditions, the Nam Can Commune Police force in coordination with local authorities and functional forces found the body of Ms. Ly Y Dinh (born in 1959, residing in Huoi Poc village, Nam Can commune) - the victim swept away by flood waters on the afternoon of July 22.

Previously, at around 3-4pm on July 22, Ms. Ly Y Dinh was on her way to the field to feed the chickens when she passed a small stream when she suddenly encountered heavy rain, causing a flash flood. The water rose so quickly that she could not escape and was swept away.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Commune Police, militia and people of Huoi Poc village were mobilized to urgently search along the streams and surrounding areas.

In the early morning of July 23, after more than half a day of continuous efforts in the rain and floods, the search team found Ms. Dinh's body and has now handed it over to her family for burial according to local customs. The authorities officially ended the search.
