120 Nghe An candidates participate in the National Internet English Olympic Competition

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 9, at Le Viet Thuat High School - Vinh City (Nghe An), the English Olympiad on the Internet opened.abbreviated as IOE)National level for high school students in the 2015-2016 school year.

Participating in this year's competition, Nghe An has 120 candidates who are grade 5 primary school students, grade 9 secondary school students and grade 11 high school students. The candidates have passed 30 rounds of self-study and are the ones who achieved the highest scores in the provincial IOE round. The percentage of students entering the national round of Nghe An is 37.48% (for primary school), 31.79% (for secondary school) and 5.68% (for high school).

Along with Nghe An, the National Internet English Olympiad will also be held in 59 other provinces and cities and will be divided into 3 groups A, B, C. It is expected that by August, the Organizing Committee will award 54 Gold prizes, 108 Silver prizes, 216 Bronze prizes and 432 Encouragement prizes at the National Award Ceremony.
