2,468 people with meritorious service in Nghe An province received a one-time allowance.

This content aims to implement the payment of one-time allowances according to Decision No. 142/2008/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the implementation of the regime for military personnel who participated in the resistance war against the US and had less than 20 years of service in the army before being demobilized and returning to their localities; Decision 62/2011/QD-TTG of the Prime Minister on the implementation of policies for those who participated in the war to protect the Fatherland and performed international duties in Cambodia and assisted Laos after April 30, 1975, and have been demobilized, discharged, or terminated their employment; and Decision 49/2015/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister for those who participated in civilian labor on the front lines during the resistance war against France and the US, the war to protect the Fatherland, and international duties.

Specifically, in this round, Nghe An province has 2,468 beneficiaries receiving one-time allowances according to Decisions 142, 62, and 49 of the Prime Minister, with a total amount of over 6.6 billion VND.

Of these, payments were made under Decision 142 to 15 individuals; under Decision 62 to 509 individuals; and under Decision 49 to 1,944 individuals. The recipients of these payments are those who are directly affected, or their relatives, by the affected individuals.people who participated in the war to defend the homelandThey served on international missions in Cambodia and Laos, and as civilian laborers on the front lines during the resistance against the French and the Americans… but have not yet benefited from the policies of the Party and the State.

Thanks to thorough preparation, the payment process was organized scientifically, accurately, and targeted correctly. This round of subsidy payments deeply reflects the principle of "remembering the source when drinking water, repaying gratitude," aiming to recognize, honor, and encourage those who have contributed to the cause of national liberation, national defense, and international missions.

In addition to the monetary compensation, all those who rendered meritorious service were also awarded certificates of participation in the civilian labor force during wartime, and were entitled to state benefits such as health insurance cards and funeral expenses upon their death.
