200 booths will display at the Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An Product Introduction Week
(Baonghean.vn) - That is the information given by the Department of Industry and Trade of Nghe An at the press conference introducing "Product introduction week of Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An Enterprises" held on the afternoon of July 24 in Vinh City.
Attending the press conference were representatives of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Ho Chi Minh City Trade and Investment Promotion Center, representatives of relevant departments, branches and press agencies in the province.

Implementing the agreement on socio-economic development cooperation for the period 2019 - 2025 between Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An, the two localities will organize many events to connect supply and demand. One of the activities is to organize fairs and exhibitions in the two localities to promote products, boost trade, seek business partners, and actively implement the campaign for Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods.
The Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An Enterprise Product Introduction Week is expected to take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day, from July 31 to August 4, 2019, at Vinh City Central Park. With a scale of 200 booths of 150 enterprises, of which 150 booths are from Ho Chi Minh City enterprises and 50 booths are from Nghe An enterprises. Displayed products include high-tech agricultural products, industrial equipment and supplies, mechanics - machinery, electronics, etc.

Also within the framework of the Product Introduction Week of the two localities' enterprises in Nghe An, the Department of Industry and Trade of Nghe An and the Center for Trade and Investment Promotion of Ho Chi Minh City also organized a workshop on "Enhancing trade between enterprises of Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An" to promote economic and trade relations between the two localities; create conditions for enterprises to learn about production capacity, supply, investment needs and propose policies to encourage investment and promote production.

At the press conference, representatives of press agencies raised a number of questions about how the event was organized, the list of booths participating in the fair; booth layout, preservation conditions and product quality... at the fair.

Based on the synthesis of opinions, Comrade Hoang Van Tam - Director of Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade and representative of Ho Chi Minh City Center for Trade and Investment Promotion answered some issues raised by representatives of press agencies; at the same time, he hoped that press agencies would give comments to the Organizing Committee; actively cooperate to attend and fully report on this event.

Ho Chi Minh City currently has a diverse distribution system with 194 supermarkets, including many large-scale supermarkets, about 100 shopping malls, more than 1,000 convenience stores and 240 traditional markets, which are the largest distribution channels and purchasing power in the country. Currently, Ho Chi Minh City has 56 investment projects in Nghe An with a total registered capital of nearly 35 trillion VND, of which 32 projects with a capital of over 22 trillion VND have come into operation, creating regular jobs for more than 5,000 workers.
