220 citizens returning from Japan complete quarantine in Nghe An, return to their localities

Information from Nghe An Health Department: 220 citizens from Japan arrived at Vinh International Airport on flight VJ7835 on April 14, after 14 days of centralized medical isolation at Muong Thanh Con Cuong Hotel, they have completed the isolation. With the third negative test result for SARS-CoV-2 virus (on the 14th day), these 220 citizens were allowed to return to their localities on April 29.

Previously, following the direction of the Government Office, at 8:40 p.m. on April 14, 2021, Nghe An welcomed flight number VJ7835 carrying 224 passengers from Narita Airport (Japan) to Vinh International Airport. These 224 citizens were quarantined at Muong Thanh Con Cuong Hotel.
On April 16, through testing, Nghe An discovered 2/224 citizens infected with the virus.SARS-CoV-2These two citizens were later announced by the Ministry of Health as cases 2766 and 2767. Both patients were admitted to the Southwest Regional General Hospital for treatment.
On April 20, conducting the second Covid-19 test on 222 citizens returning from Japan, Nghe An discovered 1 more citizen positive for the virus.SARS-CoV-2 virusThis citizen was announced by the Ministry of Health as case number 2795.
On April 29, the third test was performed on F1 cases of patients 2766, 2767 and 2795, Nghe An discovered a case positive for the virus.SARS-CoV-24th in the quarantine area. This case is the person who shared the same room with patient 2795 before (after patient 2795 was discovered, this case was isolated alone). The Ministry of Health announced this as case 2898.
Information from Nghe An Health Department: Today (April 30), patient 2766 (23 years old, residing in Anh Son district, Nghe An province) has recovered from the disease, with 4 consecutive negative test results and will be discharged from the hospital. Nghe An Health Department assigned Anh Son District Health Center to strictly monitor the patient's health at home for 14 days.
Patients 2767, 2795 and 2898 are continuing to be treated at the Southwest Regional General Hospital with good health and mental progress./.
