3 subjects stole 9 motorbikes and were caught

(Baonghean.vn)- On December 2, 2015, Nam Dan District Police initiated a case, prosecuted and temporarily detained 3 subjects who had committed 9 motorbike thefts recently.

The three arrested subjects include: Nguyen Anh Tu (born in 1985), residing in Hamlet 5, Nam Cuong Commune, Nam Dan District; Le Van Dong (born in 1986) and Nguyen Van Son (born in 1989), both residing in Nam Trung Commune, Nam Dan District. The seized evidence includes a set of lock-breaking clamps, a mobile phone, and a motorbike with license plate number 37M1-567.87 - the means used by the subjects to commit the crime.

3 suspects responsible for 9 motorbike thefts were arrested (ringleader Le Van Dong standing in the middle).

Le Van Dong is a subject with 1 previous conviction for violating road traffic regulations and 1 previous conviction for property theft. Leading this group, Dong directed and participated in 9 motorbike thefts in the 2 districts of Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen. With a set of motorbike lock breaking clamps, in less than 10 seconds the locking system was disabled by the subjects, then the engine was started and they sped away.

During the investigation, the district police seized 5 motorbikes that the subjects had previously stolen and returned them to the people. Currently, Nam Dan district police are continuing to investigate and expand the case./.
