In the proposal sent to the Ministry of Transport, the General Department of Roads proposed a project to upgrade 36 km of National Highway 7 in the period of 2021 - 2025, with the starting point in Dien Chau town, intersecting with National Highway 1A; the end point in Do Luong town, Nghe An. The total investment of the project is more than 1,300 billion VND from the State budget and Government bond capital.

In addition, the vital North-South Expressway from Hanoi to Ha Tinh, the 43.5km section through Nghi Son - Dien Chau, is under urgent construction and is expected to be completed in 2023. Once completed, the distance between Dien Chau and other localities across the country will be significantly shortened, creating momentum for the development of all industries, especially real estate.

The last spearhead added to the Dien Chau infrastructure “collection” is the Southeast Economic Zone Project, which has just been approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province to expand the area to 80,000 hectares (including 70,000 hectares of land and 10,000 hectares of sea surface). Of which, the industrial park area is about 15,000 hectares, renamed Nghe An Economic Zone. Nghe An will also submit to the Government to add the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone to the group of key coastal economic zones of the country to have more resources for development investment from the State budget for the period 2021-2025.
