3 months of deployment, police seized 504.3 kg of fireworks

(Baonghean.vn) – From September 1, 2016 to December 1, 2016, the police of various units and localities discovered and arrested 36 cases, 38 subjects illegally buying, selling, transporting, storing, and using fireworks, confiscating 324.3 kg of explosive fireworks, 180 kg of electric fireworks.

Implementing Plan No. 541/KH-UBND dated September 6, 2016 of the Provincial People's Committee on preventing and combating violations related to fireworks before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2017, the Provincial Police issued Plan No. 307/KH-CAT-PV11 dated September 23, 2016 on preventing and combating violations related to fireworks before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2017.

Police units and localities have proactively developed plans and focused on directing their serious implementation. Initially, there have been positive results, contributing to ensuring security and order in the area.

From September 1, 2016 to December 1, 2016, the police of various units and localities discovered and arrested 36 cases, 38 subjects illegally buying, selling, transporting, storing, and using fireworks, confiscating 324.3 kg of explosive fireworks and 180 kg of electric fireworks.

Some units and localities achieved outstanding results, such as: PC67 Department arrested 05 cases, 05 subjects, seized 35.5 kg of firecrackers, 180 kg of electric fireworks; PC45 Department arrested 05 cases, 05 subjects, seized 78.42 kg of firecrackers; Thai Hoa Town Police arrested 06 cases, 07 subjects, seized 44 kg of firecrackers; PC46 Department arrested 02 cases, 02 subjects, seized 44 kg of firecrackers; Hoang Mai Town Police arrested 03 cases, 03 subjects, seized 45.5 kg of firecrackers...
