(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 6, in Vinh city, the Provincial People's Committee held the Closing Ceremony, Award Ceremony and Exhibition of paintings participating in the 4th Nghe An Children's Fine Arts Award 2020.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and units; leaders of the Department of Education and Training of districts, cities, towns and schools, units that won collective prizes, children with winning paintings and a large number of students in Vinh city.

To continue building the movement and creating an aesthetic education environment for children, on April 23, 2020, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1295/QD-UBND to establish the Organizing Committee of the Fine Arts Awards.Nghe An province childrenFor the fourth time in 2020, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and related units to organize and implement.

After more than 6 months of launching, by October 15, the Organizing Committee had received 17,812 paintings from children (10,285 paintings from primary school; 7,527 paintings from secondary school) from 337 units in 18 districts, cities and towns participating in the contest.

Specifically, Do Luong district (48 units), Vinh city (44 units), Nam Dan (37 units), Quynh Luu (35 units), Ky Son (25 units), Hoang Mai town (24 units), Tuong Duong (19 units), Nghi Loc (18 units), Quy Chau (17 units), Quy Hop (14 units), Cua Lo town (12 units), Dien Chau (11 units), Tan Ky (8 units), Thai Hoa town (8 units), Nghia Dan (7 units), Thanh Chuong (5 units), Con Cuong (4 units), Anh Son (01 unit).

After 03 rounds of selection,Board of Judgesselected 38 paintings of 02 primary and secondary school age groups with the best quality to award at the Closing Ceremony. Including 02 First prizes, 06 Second prizes, 10 Third prizes, 20 Encouragement prizes and 06 collective prizes for units with outstanding achievements in the competition. At the same time, selected more than 150 paintings to display and introduce at the Closing Ceremony.

On this occasion, the Department of Education and Training also commended 06 collectives (including the Departments of Education and Training: Vinh City, Do Luong, Quy Chau, Ky Son, Nam Dan, Quynh Luu districts) who actively directed theschool, unit participating in Children's Fine Arts Awards.
