4 civil servants in Nam Dan were administratively disciplined

Pursuant to Decision No. 6564/QD-UBND dated December 22, 2016 of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman on the establishment of an interdisciplinary inspection team for compliance with discipline and administrative discipline in the province, on the morning of March 17, the team conducted supervision and inspection in Nam Dan district.
During a surprise inspection at Xuan Hoa commune at 7:50 a.m., the delegation noted that in general, officials and civil servants complied with working hours. The People's Committee of the commune assigned office staff to monitor the compliance with working hours of officials and civil servants of the agency.
However, most of the cadres and civil servants do not wear civil servant badges, and the commune has not made name tags or civil servant titles. Xuan Hoa commune has issued a code of conduct for cadres, civil servants and non-professional workers, but has not yet provided the inspection team with the commune's Code of Conduct for Workplace Culture.

“The working regulations of the People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term stipulate that the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee receives citizens once a week, which is not in accordance with the regulation of receiving citizens once a week according to the Law on Citizen Reception. The monthly work program also does not arrange a schedule for the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee to receive citizens,” Mr. Bui Dinh Sang - Chief Inspector of the Department of Home Affairs, head of the delegation, noted and reminded the unit to promptly correct and amend.

On the same morning, the delegation continued to inspect the implementation of discipline and administrative discipline in Nam Tan commune in accordance with Directive 17-CT/TU dated December 3, 2013 of the Provincial Party Committee and Directive 26/CT-TTg dated September 5, 2016 of the Prime Minister. At the time of inspection, 6/21 commune officials and civil servants were on leave or absent, many officials and civil servants did not wear their civil servant badges during working hours.
The Chief Inspector of the Department of Home Affairs reminded: "The commune is temporarily borrowing the headquarters of the Health Station while waiting for the construction of a new headquarters, but many officials and civil servants do not wear badges. How can people who come to work know who they need to meet and who they are working with? We request the commune to immediately fix this."

At the following working session, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Nam Dan District People's Committee said that through the recent inspection and supervision in some communes in the area, the district has decided to immediately discipline 4 civil servants who violated discipline and administrative discipline in Nam Thuong commune in the form of disciplinary reprimand. At the same time, he requested the commune leaders to seriously review, learn from experience, and promptly rectify discipline and administrative discipline in the area.
