6 vaccines women need to get before pregnancy
Before deciding to get pregnant, women should get a booster shot for measles, mumps, rubella; chickenpox; whooping cough; seasonal flu...
There are many infectious diseases that can occur in the period immediately before and during pregnancy; some of which are completely preventable by vaccination. In addition, in this group, the immunity acquired through basic vaccinations in childhood has begun to decline significantly, increasing the risk of infection and reducing the concentration of antibodies passed on to the baby during pregnancy. In the first months after birth, the baby is protected by antibodies passed on from the mother.
