7 ambassadors visit the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap
The ambassadors were surprised by the simplicity and intimacy of General Vo Nguyen Giap's tomb at Vung Chua - Yen Island, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh.
This afternoon, the ambassadors of the Czech Republic, Argentina, Sweden, England, Italy, Australia and the US Assistant Secretary of State came to offer incense at the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap.
Accompanying the delegation were Secretary General of the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO Pham Sanh Chau and runner-up Duong Truong Thien Ly.

The diplomats had just arrived in Quang Binh to join a trip to explore Son Doong Cave. In order for the ambassadors to be able to go close to the General's grave to offer incense, the leaders of the Quang Binh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism called to ask for permission from the General's family.
Mr. Tom Malinowski, US Assistant Secretary of State, shared: “I have known General Vo Nguyen Giap before and have great respect for him.
I am very honored to come here to visit the grave and also very surprised that a world-famous General chose for himself such a simple and close resting place to the people.
Tomorrow morning, the group will officially set out to conquer Son Doong Cave, the largest natural cave in the world.
