70 years of tradition of People's Public Security Finance

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 12, Nghe An Provincial Police held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the People's Public Security Finance Force's tradition (April 17, 1946 - April 17, 2016).

Attending the event were Colonel Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Deputy Director of the Finance Department - Ministry of Public Security, Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police, comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial Police, representatives of leaders of relevant Departments and Branches, and a large number of officers and soldiers working in finance in Nghe An Police through the periods.

Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department, awarded the 3rd class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Finance Department.

Over 70 years of construction and development, the Finance force of the People's Public Security in general and the Finance force of Nghe An Public Security in particular have always promoted their traditions, strived to excellently complete all assigned tasks, promptly ensured necessary financial resources for working, fighting and building activities of the Public Security of units and localities, contributing to the successful implementation of the task of protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety.

With outstanding achievements, many individuals were awarded Medals, titles of emulation fighters of the whole force, Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, Ministry of Public Security, Provincial People's Committee, Certificates of Merit from the Finance Department and Director of Provincial Police.

In particular, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its tradition, the Finance Department was awarded the Third Class "Fatherland Protection Medal" by the President.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Deputy Director of the Finance Department - Ministry of Public Security affirmed that entering a new phase, the work of ensuring political security and social order and safety is increasingly difficult, the tasks set for the financial force of the Public Security Forces are extremely heavy.

Therefore, the Finance force of Nghe An Public Security must closely follow the key and urgent political tasks of the Party, the State and the Ministry of Public Security; At the same time, promote administrative reform in the field of public financial management to achieve efficiency, especially innovating processes, regulations, styles and working methods, associated with the content of major campaigns of the State, the industry and the Provincial Public Security. Apply information technology to monitor and manage finances and assets, build long-term strategic orientations, ensure service to work and combat according to the requirements of the Ministry of Public Security.
