72 athletes participate in the 2018 Sports Family tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 27, at the provincial gymnasium, the Department of Culture and Sports opened the 2018 Family Sports Tournament.
This year's Sports Family Tournament attracted 72 athletes who are members of 35 excellent sports families from 13 districts, cities and towns across the province. The athletes will compete in two sports: badminton and table tennis. Badminton will be competed in the following pairs: husband and wife, father and son, mother and daughter, father and daughter, mother and son. Table tennis will be competed in the following doubles: husband and wife, mother and daughter, father and daughter, mother and son.

The Family Sports Tournament is held annually in response to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", with the goal of "Building healthy, prosperous, equal, progressive, happy and sustainably developed families".
