8 gamblers arrested at dice gambling den on Tet holiday
Eight people were caught red-handed while gambling for money by shaking dice in Phu My 1 hamlet, Phu Hoi commune. Nearly 47 million VND in cash was seized at the scene.
On February 4, according to information from the Investigation Police Agency of Nhon Trach District Police (Dong Nai), the unit is temporarily detaining 8 subjects including: Nguyen Anh Dung (born in 1969); Tang Minh Thong (born in 1989); Le Van Phu (born in 1983); Le Van Tam (born in 1975); Nguyen Van Lanh (born in 1969); Tran Minh Hiep (born in 1981); Tran Ngoc Son (born in 1974) and Nguyen Ngoc Hoa (born in 1985), all 8 residing in Nhon Trach District (Dong Nai) to investigate and clarify the act of gambling.

Previously, using professional measures, on the evening of February 2 (the second day of Tet), the criminal investigation force of Nhon Trach District Police, the E25 Mobile Police Force of the Ministry of Public Security and the Phu Hoi Commune Police caught the 8 subjects red-handed gambling for money in the form of shaking dice in Phu My 1 Hamlet, Phu Hoi Commune, seizing nearly 47 million VND in cash at the scene.
Through the struggle, the above subjects confessed that they had bet from 100 to 500 thousand per game before being arrested by the police.
