800 million VND given to Nghe An workers at the program 'Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party'

Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, provincial departments, branches, sectors, Dong Nam Economic Zone, Nghi Loc District People's Committee.

In recent years, the Trade Unions at all levels in Nghe An province have paid great attention, made great efforts, and are highly determined in performing their role and function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. In particular, the annual program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" organized by the Trade Unions at all levels has a truly profound humanitarian meaning, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate, and receiving attention from Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, and enterprises.

Before Lunar New Year this year,Provincial Federation of Laborhas issued a plan with many practical contents to take care of union members and workers, to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam with the theme "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" according to the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", focusing on the grassroots, on union members and workers.

In which, 3 major programs were organized including: Organizing for the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation to attend, visit, give gifts, encourage, and wish the New Year to union members and workers at 10 locations of "Tet Sum vay - Xuan ung Dang" organization in enterprises in districts and sectors across the province; organizing the "Tet Sum vay - Xuan ung Dang" program focusing on more than 2,000 workers and laborers in the WHA Industrial Park in the Southeast Economic Zone; organizing the "Tet Sum vay - Xuan ung Dang" program for 800 union members of the administrative and career civil servants of the Education, Health, Civil Servants and Vinh city units at the Provincial Labor Culture House and honoring 95 exemplary party members in the whole province.

At the same time, the Provincial Labor Federation implemented the "Union Tet Market" Program of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Currently, more than 3,500 workers and laborers from districts and sectors have been supported to buy free goods worth 500,000 VND, with a total amount of nearly 2 billion VND; developed a plan to welcome workers and laborers back to their hometowns for Tet on "0 VND flights" and "0 VND trains"; developed a plan to visit, give gifts, encourage, and wish Tet to union members and laborers with the participation of Central leaders according to the Plan of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Speaking at the program "Tet Sum vay - Xuan ung Dang" at WHA Industrial Park, comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation suggested that after the program ended, union members, workers and laborers would return to their localities and enterprises to strongly spread the spirit and meaning of the festival "Tet Sum vay - Xuan ung Dang", enjoy Tet, welcome Spring warmly with relatives and family. And after Tet holiday, continue to return to enterprises to compete in labor, production to achieve higher and higher results.

At the program, 40 excellent workers and laborers in the province received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee; 1,000 union members, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances of the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union received gifts at the program (each gift worth 800,000 VND including 500,000 VND in cash and 300,000 VND in kind).
