Eating a lot of fat at night can cause chronic inflammation.
Researchers from Texas A&M University suggest that consuming saturated fat at night can wreak havoc on the body's circadian rhythm.

Cells in the body operate according to their own biological clocks, which regulate the activity time of cells, helping cells to function rhythmically, thereby controlling inflammatory reactions that appear in the body.
According to Dr. David Earnest, saturated fat affects the body's immune system. Consuming too much fat slows down the body's immune cell clock, reducing the body's ability to control inflammatory responses. A high-fat diet can lead to chronic inflammation and a higher risk of many diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke and rheumatoid arthritis.
According to scientists, the possibility of chronic inflammation depends on the saturated fats our bodies eat. In addition, the time of eating also contributes to their absorption. Accordingly, the best time to eat a fatty meal is early in the morning and conversely, eating them at night can cause unwanted harmful effects to the body.
