By ensuring adequate facilities and equipment for teaching and learning, and continuously innovating management practices to create positive changes in all aspects of schools, the Education and Training Department of Anh Son district has implemented appropriate solutions to improve the quality of education. In particular, the department consistently maintains a high number of outstanding students at the provincial level each year.
Building facilities that meet the requirements of teaching and learning.
Ensuring adequate facilities for teaching and learning in 61 kindergartens, primary schools, junior high schools, combined primary and junior high schools, and high schools (including 60 public schools and 1 private school) is one of the important tasks of all levels and sectors in Anh Son district.
In recent times, despite facing many difficulties, the district has always paid attention to and created favorable conditions in all aspects for the development of the Education and Training sector. This includes prioritizing funding and integrating programs and projects to build spacious schools and ensure better facilities to meet the requirements of teaching and learning. In particular, it has made a significant contribution to the implementation of the plan and action program for the Resolution of the 21st Congress of the Anh Son District Party Committee, term 2020-2025...
In response to the demands for innovation in the Education and Training sector, especially the need for innovation according to the 2018 General Education Program, Anh Son district has issued policies, projects, and plans appropriate to each specific stage to effectively implement the innovation requirements of the Education and Training sector.
During the 2023-2024 school year, the district continued to invest in the construction of a new Phuc Son Kindergarten; building classrooms, functional rooms, and other facilities at secondary schools..., while ensuring the merger of small school branches (two branches have already been merged) into the main school.
To date, in Anh Son district, the total number of solid classrooms at the preschool and general education levels is 770, including 194 preschool classrooms (79.18%); 278 primary school classrooms (80.11%); 202 lower secondary school classrooms (98.05%); 82 upper secondary school classrooms (100%); and 14 vocational education and continuing education classrooms (100%). The total number of semi-solid classrooms is 124.
To ensure optimal teaching and learning conditions, the district Party committee and government have consistently prioritized investment in building and supplementing facilities for schools.
Over the years, the infrastructure and teaching equipment have received attention, investment, and upgrading to better meet the needs of teaching and learning, especially the needs of innovation according to the 2018 General Education Program. In the 2023-2024 school year, schools in the district received over 125 billion VND in investment for the construction, upgrading, and renovation of classrooms and functional rooms, and the purchase of teaching equipment. In the future, efforts will be intensified to mobilize resources for the construction of school infrastructure and equipment, the construction of schools meeting national standards, educational quality accreditation, and the merger of schools and school branches...

Maintain the quality of outstanding students at the provincial level.
Along with a significant improvement in the overall quality of education (the annual junior high school graduation rate is over 98%) and positive changes in the results of the entrance exam for grade 10 high school, the Education and Training sector of Anh Son district has consistently made its mark in producing outstanding students at all levels. Over the past five years, the district has had 7,045 outstanding students at the district level, and notably, 174 outstanding students at the provincial level, including 10 first prizes, 52 second prizes, 49 third prizes, and 32 consolation prizes.
The school's academic performance has consistently ranked among the top in the province for many years: 3 times ranked 2nd in the province (2016, 2017, 2019); 2 times ranked 3rd in the province (2022, 2023), with many subjects ranking 1st in the province: History (2 times ranked 1st in the province), Literature (4 times ranked 1st in the province), Mathematics, Biology, Civic Education, Chemistry, and Informatics (1 time ranked 1st in the province).
In Anh Son district, thanks to the attention of all levels of government, departments, parents, and students, the quality of English language instruction has seen many positive changes: In the 2022-2023 school year, 43 students achieved international English certificates; in the 2023-2024 school year, 29 students achieved international English certificates; 4 students achieved excellent student status at the provincial level and ranked 5th in bảng A (Group A) nationwide in the province.
Furthermore, the quality of teaching Informatics in junior high schools has improved, ensuring the mandatory Informatics teaching requirements of the 2018 General Education Program for grades 6, 7, and 8. In the 2022-2023 school year, 143 students achieved the IC3 Informatics Certificate and 2 students were awarded the title of excellent student in Informatics at the provincial level. In the 2023-2024 school year, 2 students were awarded the title of excellent student at the provincial level and ranked second in Group A nationwide.
The quality of outstanding students at all levels has improved. In the 2023-2024 school year, the district organized a district-level competition to recognize outstanding students from grades 6 to 9, with 1,699 students achieving district-level outstanding student status; including: 140 first prizes, 435 second prizes, 638 third prizes, and 486 consolation prizes.
Also during the past school year, the 9th grade students achieved many high awards at the provincial level, with 36 students receiving the title of outstanding student at the provincial level (including 2 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 17 third prizes, and 9 consolation prizes; Physics, Informatics, and Geography ranked 2nd, and Literature ranked 4th)...
Discussing solutions to improve the quality of outstanding students at the provincial level, Mr. Doan Van Thanh – Head of the Education and Training Department of Anh Son district, said:
"To proactively select and form a pool of potential students for the new school year, the Department of Education and Training has directed all junior high schools in the district to select potential students and assign them tasks for self-study and research based on the guidance and assistance of subject teachers."
After forming the provincial-level gifted student selection team, the department assigned Anh Son Secondary School to receive students from other schools and develop a scientific training plan and program, closely following the curriculum, arranging timetables and classroom locations appropriately, ensuring quality and safety for the students during their studies and training at the school.
