With the motto “where there are people, there are party members”, the process of finding sources, training and introducing outstanding people to the Party is carried out by Party committees and mass organizations in the political system of Que Phong district through building models and emulation movements at the grassroots level. Thereby, discovering factors that are truly enlightened and want to join the Party ranks to “learn, practice, contribute and set an example…”.

On September 5, 2024, in Lien Phuong village, Chau Kim commune, a ceremony to admit new party members took place, attracting the attention of cadres, party members and people. The party admission ceremony that day was quite special, because the two outstanding people admitted were a young couple of Thai ethnic group who both graduated from Hanoi University of Culture.
They are Mr. Luu Van Tai and Ms. Luong Thi Ty, born in 1996. "Being admitted to the Party on the same day is not only an honor but also a great motivation for my husband and I to continue to strive to practice and be worthy members of the Communist Party of Vietnam," shared new party member Luu Van Tai.

Born into a poor farming family in Lien Phuong village, Chau Kim commune, thanks to his hard work and high school graduation, Thai ethnic boy Luu Van Tai passed the entrance exam to Hanoi University of Culture and met his wife Lo Thi Ty, also a Thai ethnic person in Tuong Duong district, who moved to a resettlement area in Ngoc Lam commune (Thanh Chuong). After graduating from school, they became husband and wife.
At first, unable to find a job, the couple decided to leave their hometown to work for companies in Quang Ninh, Hung Yen, Bac Giang, etc. After that, they returned to Lien Phuong village to invest in developing a livestock model, renting abandoned fields from people who had gone to work far away to grow high-quality rice.
Luckily, the Party Committee and the commune government paid attention to me and arranged for me to work as a part-time cadre at the Commune Party Committee Office. My husband and I were also trained to join the Party by key Party members in the Lien Phuong village Party Cell. We are grateful and promise to strive, train, and become a bridge connecting the Party's will and the people's hearts in the village and hamlet."
Mr. Luu Van Tai - Lien Phuong village, Chau Kim commune

The training and admission of two party members with university degrees is not only the pride of the family but also the common joy of Lien Phuong village. Because according to Party cell secretary Lo Xuan Duc, "these will be the "red seeds" to inherit and supplement high-quality resources for the village party cell".
In Do village, Chau Kim commune, there is also a couple who are striving to join the Party. They are Ms. Mac Thi Hoang (born in 1987) and Mr. Vi Van Sinh (born in 1985). Although busy with their construction materials business, this couple still actively participates in activities and enthusiastically supports movements in the village. Therefore, they were "chosen" by the Party cell to be trained into the Party.

“At first, my husband and I were hesitant because we were afraid it would affect our business and we were afraid of being tied down, but after being encouraged by the Party members in the Party cell, my husband and I were determined to join the Party to train ourselves and strive to become good citizens, setting an example in complying with local policies and regulations,” Ms. Hoang confided.
There were more than 70 people participating in the Party awareness training course, mainly cadres and teachers, but at the end of the course, I was one of 5 people who achieved an Excellent grade. That was also the motivation for me to be determined to join the Party's ranks."
Ms. Mac Thi Hoang - Do village, Chau Kim commune
Currently, Ms. Mac Thi Hoang has been supported by the Do village Party Cell to complete the application for admission, while Mr. Vi Van Sinh has just completed a training course on Party knowledge and is determined to strive to soon become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

From the realization that being admitted to the Party is an honor for each individual, and also an opportunity to contribute and mature, many union members and young people in Que Phong district have constantly strived in all aspects to join the Party's ranks.
For Ms. Luong Thi Huynh, in Ang Dua village, Thong Thu commune, “the moment of raising her hand to swear an oath before the national flag, the Party flag, and the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh at the Party admission ceremony is an unforgettable memory in her life, both emotional and proud…”.
Previously, after graduating from the University of Law and returning to her hometown, young girl Luong Thi Huynh enthusiastically participated in village and hamlet activities and was trained to join the Party by the Ang Dua village Party Cell. Huynh's admission to the Party on November 22, 2023 was a source of pride for the whole family.

“The night before Huynh was admitted to the Party, I couldn’t sleep all night, just wishing for the morning to come quickly so I could go to the cultural house to witness my child’s admission ceremony. I felt so happy and proud,” said Ms. Quang Thi Hue, Luong Thi Huynh’s mother.
Currently, Ms. Huynh has been accepted to work as a worker at Goertek Company, specializing in electronics in Bac Giang, holding the position of warehouse accountant. “I always realize that as a party member, no matter what I do, wherever I am, I must be a pioneer and exemplary model,” Luong Thi Huynh shared.
Striving to join the Party to train, contribute and mature is also the wish of many students at Que Phong High School. A typical example is Va Y Xong, a Mong ethnic in Muong Long village - an area about 30km from the center of Tri Le border commune on a unique winding road, clinging to the mountainside.

Here, people's lives are still difficult, with many backward customs. Mong women in the village only know how to go to the fields during the day and stay at home at night, rarely leaving the village. Many women do not know the common language and have to attend literacy classes organized by the Border Guard. Therefore, the fact that the young girl Va Y Xong was able to join the Party while still a high school student has become a source of pride and a shining example for the young generation of the village.

Teacher Nguyen Dinh Hai - the homeroom teacher of Y Xong said: Coming from a farming family in a poor village, Y Xong always strives to overcome barriers, studying hard, being exemplary and enthusiastic in the movements of the class and the school. He is a diligent and enthusiastic cadre in charge of studying in class 12A4. It is completely worthy for Xong to be in the ranks of the Party.
And Y Xong expressed: “Being nurtured, guided and facilitated by teachers to join the Party at the age of 18 is a happiness and an unforgettable memory in my life. This is also a source of encouragement and a provision for me to become a useful citizen for society.”

If young people strive to join the Party to train, contribute, and mature, then for "old" people like Mr. Vi Van Thuong, a Thai ethnic, born in 1967 in Do village (Chau Kim commune), joining the Party is to "set an example for children and grandchildren".
Talking to us, Mr. Vi Van Thuong sincerely confided: “In the past, I also had the desire and went to study Party sympathy, but due to difficult economic circumstances, my wife had a serious accident, then was often sick, and my 3 children were still in school age, so I did not have the conditions to fulfill my wish. Now my children are grown up, and I am holding the position of village team leader, so I want to join the Party to set an example for my children and grandchildren, not to seek fame or profit.”

With the help of the Do Party Cell, in January 2023, Mr. Vi Van Thuong was honored to join the Party. According to the Secretary of the Do Party Cell, Mr. Luong Tien Duy: In the current difficult conditions of creating sources and developing Party members, having another Party member who is exemplary in ethics, lifestyle, and hard-working and diligent in economic development like Comrade Thuong is good news for the Party Cell, and is also a motivating factor, spreading the influence for the younger generation to practice, strive, and follow the example".
As for Mr. La Van Hoa - Head of the Farmers' Association of Hong Phong block (Kim Son town), September 8, 2023 marked an important event in his life when he was honored to join the Party at the age of 59.

When Mr. Hoa wrote his application to join the Party, some people advised him to rest because he was old... However, Mr. Hoa thought, "In the past, because of difficult family circumstances, he had to put aside his dream of studying early to find a way to escape poverty. Now that the family's economy is stable, if he becomes a Party member, participates in Party activities, and fully grasps the Party and State's policies and guidelines, he will do a better job as the Head of the Farmers' Association of the bloc."
On the other hand, through the expanded meetings, Mr. Hoa learned that the Party development work in rural areas is currently facing many difficulties because many young people go to work far away, while those who stay in the locality are busy with economic activities and are not interested in village and hamlet affairs. Therefore, he thought that if an older person like him joined the Party, he would set an example for the young people to strive.
The Party cell's resources for Party development were not much, so when hearing Mr. La Van Hoa express his intention to join the Party, the Party Committee was very happy. After consulting with the higher-level Party Committee, the Party cell assigned Party members to support and help Mr. Hoa with the admission documents.
Comrade Lo Van Thanh - Secretary of the Hong Phong block Party cell, Kim Son town

Joining us to visit the farm of party member La Van Hoa in the San Huong hill area, Secretary of the Kim Son town Party Committee - Hoang Trung Thong shared: Comrade Hoa is a typical example of the will to rise up and develop the household economy. From raising local buffaloes, cows, chickens to growing sugarcane, acacia, fruit trees, vegetables... he is a pioneer in everything. Currently, his family's farm has an average income of 150-200 million VND/year.
In addition, as the Head of the La Van Hoa Farmers' Association, he also actively propagates and mobilizes people in the block to expand roads to production areas; convert ineffective rice fields to sugarcane fields, participate in pig and cow breeding groups, acacia planting groups, etc. to exchange and share production and breeding experiences, contributing to poverty reduction and new rural construction in the locality.
Thanks to that, comrade La Van Hoa was honored by Que Phong district as a good farmer and businessman; a typical example of implementing Directive 05, a typical example of skillful mass mobilization.

Talking to us, comrade Truong Thi Tuyet Mai - Head of the Organizing Committee of Que Phong District Party Committee said: The desire to join the Party to better understand its policies and contribute more to the people's and the village's affairs of people like comrade La Van Hoa is very valuable. Through that, it has been proven that striving to join the Party is never too late for anyone with legitimate aspirations, determination and dedication... Wherever there are people, there will be Party members!
