Handing over solidarity house to poor single women in Hoang Mai
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 5, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Women's Union of Hoang Mai town organized the handover of Great Solidarity houses to poor single members in Mai Hung ward.

Mrs. Dinh Thi Doai, in block 11, Mai Hung ward, is a poor household, a single mother, both mother and daughter suffer from tuberculosis, are often sick, unable to work, living in a small, dilapidated, seriously degraded house, not ensuring safety. Faced with that situation, the Women's Union of Hoang Mai town mobilized donations to support her in building a house.
After more than 2 months of construction, the 3-room tiled house with a total area of 72 m2was put into use with a total cost of 168 million VND. Of which, the Town Women's Union supported 20 million VND; the Town Fatherland Front Committee supported 30 million VND, the rest was supported by relatives.
On this occasion, organizations also supported her family with some household items; some benefactors donated to buy a breeding cow worth 7.5 million VND, to help her family stabilize their lives soon.
