The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee approved the investment policy for a nearly 600 billion VND export footwear production project in Quynh Luu.
(Baonghean.vn) - The above project is being implemented in Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu district with a total investment of 593,209 billion VND. When put into operation, it will create jobs for about 8,000 workers.

The above policy was approved by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee at the regular meeting in April 2023 held on the morning of April 27. Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

The project is invested by May Thinh Phat Joint Stock Company, with an operating period of 50 years from the date of land lease decision.
The goal is to provide footwear products, footwear materials and accessories to the market, with a capacity of 10 million products/year.

The investment scale of the project includes a system of 6 factories, office buildings, rest houses, workers' canteens... and technical infrastructure, auxiliary works deployed on a total area of 98,761m2.2.
The investor will complete investment procedures in the third quarter of 2023, then start construction and put the project into operation in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The project is assessed to be consistent with the land use planning orientation for the period 2021 - 2030 of Quynh Luu district approved by the Provincial People's Committee (planning for the purpose of non-agricultural production land); consistent with the new rural planning orientation for the period 2021 - 2030 being developed by the People's Committee of Quynh Thach commune.
The project is in line with the industrial development orientation of Nghe An province, in which the textile and garment sector is one of the priority sectors for development to increase export turnover and create jobs for workers; in line with the 5-year socio-economic development orientation, period 2021 - 2025 of Quynh Luu district on continuing to promote investment attraction for industrial and handicraft development in the period 2021 - 2025.
After the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee agrees on the policy, the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee will direct the Provincial People's Committee, investors, departments, branches and related units to complete the procedures and carry out the next steps in accordance with the law.
