The Provincial Party Standing Committee approved the investment policy of FLC's 10,500 billion project.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Party Standing Committee approved the investment policy of the Eco-tourism and entertainment complex in Nghi Tien commune, Nghi Loc district proposed by FLC Group with a total investment of 10,500 billion VND, project implementation scope of 460 hectares at the working session on the morning of October 27.

Reporting to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the overall project, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien affirmed that the investor's capacity is FLC Group with many successful investment projects in several provinces such as Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, ...

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also said that when this project is implemented, completed and put into operation, it will create a breakthrough momentum, develop tourism, services, and trade; create an image, attract investment, and contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of the province.

The project will create stable jobs for about 1,500 local workers. More than 500 households affected by the project will be relocated and resettled in new, more convenient places with investment in spacious infrastructure.

Nghi Tien commune will also be invested in and completed with some synchronous infrastructure.

At the meeting, the comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee highly agreed on the investment policy of this project.

However, some comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and leaders of some departments and branches also raised some concerns that need attention during the project implementation process.

Director of the Provincial Police, Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau raised concerns that the distance from Cua Lo town to Nghi Tien commune is not long, but there are 2 golf course projects, suggesting that it needs to be considered and studied further.

Pointing out the fact that some hydropower projects have implemented resettlement and relocation, causing many shortcomings and limitations, with people returning to their old places of residence, Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau suggested that the Provincial People's Committee should choose suitable resettlement locations, while paying attention to factors to ensure that the new place of residence is better than the old place.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, concluding this content, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh agreed with the policy of allowing FLC Group to invest in the Eco-tourism and Entertainment Complex project to create a new tourist complex, changing the appearance and making it more attractive in tourism, service and trade activities.

However, Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh also emphasized: During the project implementation process, it is necessary to focus on fully implementing procedures, strict order, in accordance with legal regulations; widely announcing and publicizing the planning so that local Party committees, authorities and people know and understand in order to create consensus and support; at the same time, so that people can proactively plan production and stabilize their lives.

Considering that the biggest challenge facing the province at present is the cost of site clearance, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial People's Committee to be responsible for calculating, arranging, and prioritizing funding to implement this work.
