At the ceremony, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs presented 1,000 national flags to the people of three wards: Nghi Tan, Thu Thuy and Nghi Hai. These are wards with many Catholics living and working at sea.
The activity contributes to encouraging fishermen to continue to confidently go offshore and catch seafood in the sea and islands under Vietnam's sovereignty.
