It is known that after building the craft village, the People's Committee of Dien Chau district invested in a centralized wastewater tank system for the craft village. However, the tank is small in scale and does not effectively treat the environment, so people use separate pipes to discharge wastewater into Lach Van. This tank becomes a place to store waste, causing serious environmental pollution.

The commune has made many recommendations but the relevant agencies have not yet had a solution. In the long term, Dien Ngoc residents are waiting for the Lach Van fishing port upgrading project approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. At the same time, the superiors need to have a project to renovate the waste treatment system of Ngoc Van seafood processing village to be implemented soon to protect the environment./.
