Storm No. 9: Nearly 400 passengers "stuck" at Vinh Station
(Baonghean.vn) - According to Vinh Railway Transport Business Center, the number of passengers stranded at Vinh Station due to delayed trains affected by storm No. 9 all departed from Vinh Station to Hanoi.

Trains SE10, SE2 and SE4 departing from Saigon to Hanoi were delayed due to the impact of storm No. 9. These trains were stuck in Ninh Thuan due to the railway system being eroded by the impact of storm No. 9.
According to Vinh Railway Transport Business Center, the landslide points in Ninh Thuan have been repaired and the route was reopened at 0:00 on November 26, 2018. However, trains passing through the repair points can only move at 5km/h.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thanh - Director of Vinh Station said: Currently, the number of tickets sold to passengers on trains SE10, SE2, and SE4 is 396 tickets.
These trains are scheduled to depart from Vinh Station specifically: SE10: 20:58, SE2: 23:42 and SE4: 22:47. Currently, these trains are delayed and the station is taking measures to meet customer needs.
The station will exchange tickets for passengers to trains to Hanoi departing from Vinh Station such as NA trains; if passengers want to return tickets, the station will also carry out ticket return procedures.
