Arrested 17 subjects gambling by shaking dice on Tet holiday

At 8:15 p.m. on February 17 (the second day of Tet), the Drug Economic Crime Police Team, Anh Son District Police caught 17 subjects gambling by shaking dice at the house of Mr. Tran Van Diep (born in 1970), residing in Block 1B, Anh Son Town, Anh Son District.

Through initial investigation, Anh Son District Police have clarified 8 subjects participating in gambling including: Nguyen Van Tuy (born in 1975), residing in block 4B, Anh Son Town; Le Dinh Long (born in 1988), residing in Tra Lan village, Phuc Son commune, Anh Son district; Cao Tien Luc (born in 1987), residing in block 1B, Anh Son Town; Tran Van Tinh (born in 1979), residing in block 4A, Anh Son town; Nguyen Xuan Kieu, (born in 1987), residing in village 15, Hoi Son commune; Bui Xuan Tung (born in 1957), residing in block 4A, Anh Son Town; Tran Van Quyen (born in 1974), residing in block 4A, Anh Son Town; Le Hai Dang (born in 1975), residing in block 4A, Anh Son Town.

The seized exhibits included 20 mobile phones, 28,765,000 VND, of which the initial amount proven to be used for gambling was 17,880,000 VND, and 1 plate, 1 bowl, and 4 round dice.

Currently, Anh Son District Police are continuing to investigate, expand the case, identify related subjects, and prepare documents for handling according to the provisions of law.
