Arrested 3 subjects illegally entering the border

Accordingly, at 8:00 a.m. on January 21, 2021, Patrol Team No. 1, Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard was performing duties in the trail area of ​​Tien Tieu village, Nam Can commune, Ky Son district when they discovered 2 subjects including: Tran Ngoc Thang, born in 1981, residing in Cam Thang village, Cam Son commune, Anh Son district and Nguyen Van Toai, born in 1997, residing in hamlet 4, Huong Son commune, Tan Ky district, Nghe An province, committing acts ofillegal entry.

QBefore working, the subjects confessed that they went to Laos to do business. Now they wanted to return home to celebrate Tet but were afraid of being quarantined. So, through the social networks of some of their colleagues, they contacted someone to help them illegally enter Vietnam, with a salary of 3 million Lao kip.

When the two subjects were trying to illegally enter the country, they were discovered and arrested by the Border Guard force.

Also on January 21, at around 3:30 p.m., the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control patrol team of Thong Thu Border Guard Station, while patrolling the border belt area of ​​Muong Phu village, Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district, discovered Lo Van Tu, born in 1986, residing in Na Phay village, Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district, illegally entering Vietnam from Laos.

Through investigation, Tu said he left the country to Laos to work as a driver for Van Phuong Construction Company, Muong Quan District, Hua Phan Province (Laos). He wanted to return home for Tet, but was afraid of being quarantined, so Tu found a way to illegally enter Vietnam.

The units have implemented measures to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic and quarantined people in accordance with the law.
