Started stealing tourist's iphone
(Baonghean.vn) - As a chef working at a business kiosk on the beach of Cua Lo town, Nguyen Thanh Tam took advantage of tourists' carelessness to steal their property.
On July 8, 2022, Nghi Thuan Commune Police, Nghi Loc District, said that they had just coordinated with relevant units to investigate and clarify the theft of tourists' property in Cua Lo town.
Previously, on July 5, 2022, Nghi Thuan Commune Police, Nghi Loc District received information from Nghi Huong Ward Police, Cua Lo Town that on June 26, 2022, at a business kiosk at the beach in Nghi Huong Ward, a tourist lost a mobile phone worth about 30 million VND.

Through investigation, the police identified Nguyen Thanh Tam (born in 1987), residing in Nam Nhan Hoa hamlet, Nghi Thuan commune, Nghi Loc, as the suspect in the theft of the tourist's property. It is worth mentioning that Tam is the chef working at the beach kiosk where the tourist lost his phone.
On July 6, 2022, the police of Nghi Thuan and Nghi Hung communes, Nghi Loc district, co-chaired and summoned Tam to the headquarters for questioning.

During the investigation, the suspect initially denied the crime, but after 5 hours of investigation, Nguyen Thanh Tam bowed his head and admitted his guilt.
Accordingly, on June 24, 2022, Tam took advantage of a tourist's carelessness and stole the aforementioned phone. During the sale process, because there was no password, phone stores were wary and did not buy the phone that Tam had stolen. Tam then took it home and hid it until he was arrested.
Currently, the subject and evidence have been handed over by Nghi Thuan Commune Police to Cua Lo Town Police for investigation and handling according to authority.
