Arrest of subject transporting cows that died of lumpy skin disease for consumption

Accordingly, upon receiving information from the public, at around 3:00 p.m. on June 9, Dai Thanh Commune Police organized forces to arrest Dau Vinh Muoi (born in 1975), residing in Hamlet 15, My Thanh Commune, who was transporting a dead cow for sale.

Seized evidence includes 1 dead cow (weighing 1.7 quintals), 1 motorbike, 1 trailer and some related evidence.
At the police station, Muoi declared that he bought the cow from Mr. Dau Trong Ph., hamlet 4, Dai Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district for 3.5 million VND.
It is known that Mr. Ph's family's cow had lumpy skin disease and was cured, but a few days ago the old disease relapsed and it died.
