Arrest of land officials who forged signatures to withdraw compensation money
Mr. Bui Duc Tron created his own documents and forged signatures of many people to appropriate compensation money from the State.
On September 17, the Investigation Police Agency of Binh Dinh Province Police issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and temporarily detain for 4 months Mr. Bui Duc Tron (39 years old), a land official of the People's Committee of Phu My town, Phu My district, Binh Dinh province to investigate and clarify the crime of "Embezzlement of property".

Previously, the Inspectorate of Phu My district, Binh Dinh province conducted an inspection and concluded that: in the process of annual land use, compensation for land acquisition for construction in residential areas in 2014 and the eastern route of Phu My market, many officials of Phu My town People's Committee illegally compensated, settled, paid money beyond regulations, causing a loss of billions of dong to the budget. In particular, Mr. Bui Duc Tron, a land official of Phu My town People's Committee, created his own records, then forged signatures of many people to appropriate compensation money from the State.
Some individuals involved in the above violations include: Mr. Nguyen Anh Thu, former Chairman of Phu My Town People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh Ha, Chairman of Phu My Town People's Committee; Ms. Ho Thi Bich Le, former accountant of Phu My Town; Ms. Tran Thi Nu, treasurer of Phu My Town.
Phu My District Inspectorate recommended that the Chairman of Phu My District People's Committee collect more than 1 billion VND to the State budget that was lost. Of which, Mr. Bui Duc Tron must be responsible for returning more than 435 million VND./.
